Live Theatre – Back By Popular Demand
30th November 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm£18.85
Back by popular demand
Following a sell-out production of their Shakespearean spoof comedy When the hurly-burly’s done, Hurly-burly Theatre returns to the Ardington on November 30th with a double bill. These two short plays, Two Left Feet and Trouble for Sixpence are by local writer Gill Medway, and feature the same cast of actors – now in decidedly less witchy attire.
In Two Left Feet, sisters Joy and Carol (Liz Downes and Jane Ware) prepare to take to the dance floor. But will their efforts be cha-cha- charming – or strictly a Dance Dis-aster?
In Trouble for Sixpence, we meet Violet, (Gill Medway) a charlady with a heart of gold and an unconventional take on life. Who – or what – did she really meet in that creepy attic room?
This lunchtime production is followed by the culinary delights of the celebrated Indigo Restaurant.
