New Summer Sunday Lunch Menu
Our new summer Sunday lunch menu launches this weekend and is packed with fresh, seasonal produce like beef, pork and pollock from Sussex, Cornish sardines, courgettes, peas and berries, prepared by Head Chef Luca Mason and his AA Rosette award winning team.
To start, why not try roasted courgette pea and basil soup; or crispy confit lamb belly water cress, mint, pomegranate salad or roasted garlic mayonnaise. You might also enjoy Bloody Mary prawn and crayfish cocktail; or for British flavours, try the Cornish sardines grilled with lemon zest and rosemary butter.
Our summery main courses feature slowly cooked shoulder of pork enriched with fennel and caraway; or coconut spiced butternut squash and bulgur wheat pilaf. If you prefer a traditional Sunday lunch, prime roast rump of English beef is excellent at this time of year.
Our desserts make the most of the summer’s fruits and include vanilla panacotta with a strawberry soup; or an Italian inspired pink prosecco jelly paired with summer berries and citrus mascarpone cream.
If you don’t have a sweet tooth, we’ve an excellent cheese board, served with our own homemade apricot chutney.

Many of our dishes are gluten free. Others can be customised. Where there is bread within a dish, we can substitute it for gluten free.
