Worthing Restaurant, Indigo Seafood And Grill, Awarded AA Rosette For A Tenth Year

We are delighted to announce that Worthing Restaurant, Indigo Seafood and Grill, has been awarded an AA Rosette for a tenth year by a panel of judges for its culinary excellence. It is the only restaurant in Worthing ever to hold this award.

AA Rosettes are awarded to restaurants that demonstrate consistently high standards in delivery and careful attention to their selection of ingredients. The inspection itself is unannounced and conducted incognito.

Serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, Indigo Seafood and Grill offers seasonal contemporary British dishes. It is renowned for its seafood, in particular locally sourced lobster, turbot and lemon sole, as well as its creative afternoon teas which include a selection of savouries, scones and miniature patisseries, all home-made on the premises.

Director, Simon Margaroli said: “To say that we are delighted is an understatement, I am very proud that we have won an AA Rosette for a tenth time for the excellence of our food. I would like to thank the whole team for their commitment and effort.”

Head Chef Luca Mason trained under David Miller, former Head Chef at the Ritz, at Tottington Manor and worked at The Grand Hotel Brighton. Luca said: “This is an exciting time to be a restaurant in Worthing and at the forefront of the developing food scene. We are fortunate to to have the finest meat, seafood, vegetables and fruits to work with, and it’s a pleasure to create dishes with such excellent Sussex produce.”

Only 2,000 restaurants are given a form of AA Rosette in the UK for their culinary excellence. This represents less than 2.5% % of the UK restaurant industry.
