We are very proud to present a night of Christmas comedy, starring award-winning BBC gag man, writer, author and stand-up Paul Kerensa, hosted by Worthing’s long established Matt’s Comedy Club, and supported by top local acts, with MC Russ Bravo (Well known to Hurly Burly Theatre and Worthing Wordies audiences).

British Comedy Award-winning writer Paul has worked on each series of BBC1’s Not Going Out starring Lee Mack, and BBC1’s Miranda. He’s also written for Top Gear, TFI Friday, The Royal Variety Performance, Buble at the BBC, the new Spitting Image, and many more TV and radio shows. 

As a stand-up, he won ITV’s Take The Mike Award, was finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards, and is the only comedian to appear both at London’s Comedy Store and on Radio 2 Breakfast Show’s Pause For Thought.

As well as being author to Amazon top 100 bestseller Hark! The Biography of Christmas as well as a range of children’s books, he’s also a prolific podcaster.

But mainly, he likes writing jokes.

When booking please provide full payment and a pre-order of your menu choices.

Please also make us aware of any dietary requirements upon booking.

If the event is cancelled due to levels of attendance or Government stipulation then a full refund will be given with in 24 hours. Decision on viability of event taking place will be made two weeks prior to the event.

Cancellations greater than 14 days prior to event, 50% refund will be given.

Cancelations less than 14 days there will be no refund unless we are able to resell the seat.

Numbers will be limited to 55 guests.
