Join us on Friday 21st October to celebrate one of this country’s greatest and most famous triumphs – Trafalgar Day.
You may have seen Nelson’s Column, you may have visited HMS Victory but how much do you really know about the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805?
Worthing's local historian Chris Hare will enlighten us on local and national effects of this great day. And there will be some wonderful live sea shanties from the Duck Pond Sailors too.
We’ll have crusty bread (GF avail), Sussex ham and cheeses, pickles and salads. The bar will be open should you fancy a tot of rum or a flagon of beer or plenty else besides.
It’s also known as Pickle Day and we have plenty of that too in honour of another ship linked with the battle.
A great night out for £14 per head.
The event will begin at 6.30pm for food and will be followed at 7.30 by the talk and sea shanties.
Secure your place by contacting Reception on 01903 230451 by 14th October.
Please pay when booking which will be non-refundable after the 7th of October. Vegetarian & Gluten-free must be pre-ordered.
