During This year’s Wimbledon Championships - the first since 2019 we are holding a fabulous unique photographic exhibition of a golden era of that premier tennis tournament in the lounge
John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, Jimmy Connors, Chris Evert, Ivan Lendl, Steffi Graf, Andre Agassi, and Monica Seles are among the legendary players depicted in a never-before-seen display of pictures taken at Wimbledon between 1982 and 1996.
They are the work of local resident Peter Robertson, who was fortunate to have excellent access to the top matches and players during those unforgettable 14 years.
BBC live coverage of Tennis will be shown on a very large 6 foot by 6 foot screen from 1:00pm to 5:00pm every day ( no play on Sundays) in the indigo lounge amongst the gallery of stars!
Strawberries and double cream, Pimms etc will be available throughout these times with the addition of our very popular light bite menu from Wednesday to Saturday midday to 2:00pm
